Work for the new Hockey stand will be underway as of Wednesday 7th June. This initial work will involve reconfiguring the perimeter fence to the north of Pitch 2 (which currently encloses the viewing balcony) and laying a concrete foundation. Work is due to last 3 weeks and will result in the complete closure of the walkway (highlighted red below) between Hockey Pitch 2 and the Indoor Track for the duration.
All being well, the new, permanent, 300-seater stand will then be installed the week commencing 3rd July, in time for the European U18s Hockey Championships starting Sunday 9th July.
