Aqua School Co-ordinator – Temporary 12 Month Contract (20 Hours)

An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Wales National Pool Swansea for a confident and highly motivated individual to join our dynamic and professional team.

You will be responsible for the coordination of our Learn to Swim and Aquatic Fitness Programme, inspiring a team of teachers & instructors to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

You will have excellent IT and customer care skills with previous experience of teaching/coaching/programming along with a Level 2 ASA teaching qualification or equivalent although upskilling will be considered for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong leadership qualities, be able to form strong working relationships, have experience of working in an aquatic environment and have a results-driven attitude.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Sports Manager – Wales National Pool Swansea

The National Aquatic facility for Wales is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our management team. If you have a passion for aquatics, sport, health and wellbeing, this position is perfect for you.

In this varied role you will support the Senior Management Team Manager in the development, operation, and strategic management of WNPS and in particular the Aqua School Programme.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong leadership qualities, be able to form strong working relationships, have management experience and a results-driven attitude. A knowledge of the leisure/sports and aquatics industry would also be advantageous.

We offer a generous annual leave entitlement of 24 days + bank holidays, access to a great pension scheme and free gym and swim membership.

Wales National Pool Swansea (WNPS) is seeking to appoint a dynamic and driven Chair to lead the WNPS board to deliver strategic and transformational change.

Working with the General Manager, the Chair will provide effective leadership and strategic direction focusing on the vision, core values and objectives of Wales National Pool Swansea.

Contract Type: Fixed Term until December 2023 

Hours of Work: Approximately 12 to 15 days per annum
