The Singleton Sports Centre will be undergoing essential maintenance starting Tuesday 27th May, with work expected to continue until the end of 2025. The works are designed to improve the long-term quality and safety of the facility, creating an enhanced experience for all our users.

What to expect:

  • Sports hall closure: The sports hall will be closed from 27th May until December 2025. All affected bookings have been contacted directly, and we are working to relocate sessions where possible.
  • Facility access: The gym, Wales National Pool, and Athletics and Hockey Centre will remain fully open and accessible throughout the project.
  • Parking adjustments: Some disabled parking bays will be temporarily relocated to the north of the customer car park. Please refer to the site map for full details.
  • Noise disruption: Construction work may result in increased noise levels around the sports hall during working hours. We are working closely with our contractor to minimize disruption.

The project will deliver a range of vital upgrades, including:

  • New insulated pitched and flat roofing
  • New windows and LED lighting
  • Improved ventilation systems
