Swansea Bay Sports Park offers a range of fitness and exercise classes throughout the day. 

Whether you prefer Yoga, Swim, Fitness Pilates, or Spin, we’ve got something for everyone. Evolve is our in house, group fitness classes. Take a look at the descriptions below to find a class for you.

All our classes are suitable for all levels of experience and fitness as our instructors will scale the exercises around each individual, offering alternatives where needed and encouraging everyone to push themselves to their own capabilities.

Evolve Unlimited

A mix of cardio and weights where anything goes. It could be anything from traditional circuits to group goal sessions, and even fun seasonal challenges! We will listen to any requests or ideas on these as we like to surprise you with new types of workouts.

Evolve HIIT

A cardio-based HIIT class using a variety of training formats such as Workout of the Day, AMRAP (As Many Rounds As Possible) and EMOM (Every Minute on the Minute). Designed as a full body, high-intensity workout to improve cardiovascular fitness.

Evolve Cycle

An indoor cycling class that focuses on improving cardiovascular fitness, lower body strength and endurance. The class involves a variety of cycle styles including steady-paced rides, hill climbs and sprints. Low impact.

Evolve Barbell

A full body workout involving the studio barbells and kettlebells. This class is designed for those who are newer to resistance training but still want to challenge themselves and use some weights. Once you gain confidence in this class then you can always progress on to Strength & Hiit!

Evolve Strength & HIIT

A combination class involving compound lifts with an Olympic barbell and other resistance-based exercises finished off with a quick hiit section to raise your heart rates!

Evolve Core

This class is purely based on strengthening the core muscles both in traditional abdominal exercises and more functional ways. It is only a 30 minute class and will compliment the other classes you may wish to do!

Evolve Cycle HIIT

A fast-paced, high intensity indoor cycling class designed to maximise calorie burn and cardiovascular fitness in a short amount of time. Perfect for that lunch time cardio blast!

Evolve Bootcamp

A high-energy, full body workout designed to build strength, endurance and cardiovascular fitness. Inspired by military-style training, this class combines a mix of cardio, strength and functional exercises performed at a fast pace.

Zumba

Our Zumba class is a high-energy, feel-good workout that blends upbeat Latin music with easy to follow dance moves from around the world. The class combines cardio, rhythm, and fun to help you burn calories, boost your mood, and stay active without it ever feeling like a workout.

Moving Through Menopause

Join our Moving Through Menopause exercise class -a friendly and energising fitness experience designed specifically for those navigating perimenopause, menopause and beyond. A mix of strength, cardio, mobility, balance and relaxation.

Legs, Bums & Tums

A targeted low impact fitness class designed to tone and strengthen the lower body and core. This class primarily focuses on the thighs, glutes, hips and abdominal muscles through a variety of repetitive, controlled exercises.

Pilates

A low impact workout class focused on building strength, stability and flexibility through controlled, precise movements. Primarily centred around strengthening the core and lower back muscles but also works the whole body.

Yoga

A mindful movement practice that combines physical postures with controlled breathing practices with elements of relaxation. Classes are typically designed to improve flexibility, strength and balance whilst encouraging a sense of calm and self-awareness.
