After many months of dedicated work behind the scenes, we’re thrilled to share that Singleton Sports Hall will officially reopen for use on Monday, March 9th.

The refurbishment project has delivered substantial improvements to the entire space, ensuring the hall meets the needs of both recreational users and competitive sports teams. These upgrades not only enhance performance and comfort but also support long‑term sustainability and accessibility. The range of vital upgrades, include:

  • Full Roof Replacement
  • Installation of acoustic panels
  • New windows and LED lighting
  • Improved ventilation systems
  • Installation of solar panels
  • Brand new timber sprung floor complete with Netball, Basketball, Futsal, Volleyball, Badminton, and Pickleball court markings
  • New Netball & Volleyball posts and new socketed post systems for Netball, Volleyball, and Badminton
  • To follow shortly:
    – Additional basketball hoops to facilitate full hall fixtures.
    – New Sports Hall netting

These improvements mark one of the biggest investments in our indoor sports facilities in recent years, ensuring our members enjoy a brighter, safer, and more sustainable environment. The new sprung floor will significantly improve playing conditions for both recreational users and competitive teams.
