Part Time including weekends 28 hours per week over a 4-week rolling rota
Salary
£24,311 per annum pro rata (£12.60 per hour)
Wales National Pool Swansea is looking for a friendly customer focused Receptionist to add to our dynamic team. Within this role you will assist in the efficient, effective and economic delivery of reception membership and booking services within the facility in order to fulfil the requirements of the Wales National Pool. Excellent Customer Care skills and sales experience are a must and the ideal candidate should have proven administrative skills, be computer literate with good keyboard skills, and have experience of working with members of the public in a customer-orientated environment. Receptionists are required to work on a shift rota, which will include regular early morning, evening, weekend and Bank Holidays to cover the needs of the service. Are you a strong swimmer with a passion for customer service? If so, then Wales National Pool Swansea would love you to come and join our team!
An NPLQ/NARS qualification is desirable however training will be provided for the right candidate.
You will be required to demonstrate swimming ability and aptitude as part of the interview process.

Full time permanent and full time temporary (6 months)

Sports Assistants/Lifeguards are required to work on a shift rota, which will include regular morning, evening, daytime, weekend and Bank Holidays shifts.

Wales National Pool Swansea is looking for a full time Duty Manager to add to our dynamic team.

Within this role, you will lead and motivate teams and ensure work schedules and employee levels are efficient and effective.
Be responsible for the recruitment, training/induction and disciplinary of employees.
To assist in event organisation, carry out water testing and chemical testing.
To assist in the implementation of Normal and Emergency Operating Procedures.
To undertake keyholder responsibilities.
You should have proven administrative skills, be computer literate with good keyboard skills and have experience of working with members of the public in a customer-orientated environment.
NPLQ/NARS pool qualification and pool plant operator qualification are essential and applications without valid and current qualifications will not be accepted.
A Swansea Council Pool Test would also be advantageous.
Required to work on a 3-week rota, which will include regular evening, weekend and Bank Holidays.
