Swansea Bay Sports Park is seeking an independent Chair and Non-Executive Directors to help shape the future of one of Wales’ leading sport, health and wellbeing destinations.

Owned jointly by Swansea University and Swansea Council, Swansea Bay Sports Park is home to the Swansea University Sport Centre, Wales National Pool Swansea, Swansea Athletics & Hockey Centre and King George V Playing Fields. Together, we’re committed to creating a world-class destination for performance sport, community sport, sport science and technology.

We’re looking for experienced, values-driven individuals who can provide strategic leadership, independent challenge and specialist expertise to support the long-term success of Swansea Bay Sports Park, helping shape the future of sport, heath and wellbeing across Swansea and the wider region.

AQUACISE INSTRUCTOR

Closing date: Sunday 16^th August

Permanent: 1.5 hours per week contract (2 45-minute sessions)

Tuesdays and Thursdays 12:15-13:00

Salary £38,386 (£19.90 per hour) per annum pro rata – SCP 31

We are looking for an enthusiastic, qualified and experienced Aquacise Instructor to join our aqua school team.

LEVEL 2 SWIMMING TEACHER – TRAIN TO POST

CLOSING DATE: Midnight Wednesday 19^th August 2026

Salary £28,164 – £29,888 (SCP 19-22) per annum pro rata

Permanent: 2 to 14 hours per week

(Tuesday and/or Wednesday and/or Thursday—48 weeks per year contract)

(Saturday and/or Sunday – 40 weeks per year contract)

Do you have a passion for swimming and learning? Would you love to be a Level 2 Swimming Teacher but don’t have the qualification? We are looking for candidates who are passionate about aquatics, enjoy working with members of the public, are friendly, approachable and have plenty of enthusiasm to join our swim school. Hours of work will include evenings and/or weekends. Please note that some of these hours will include in water instruction with a dryside co-teacher. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure.

If successful you must be:

· Over 16 years old

· Able to commit to a 48 week per year programme and 2-year training agreement.
